Lower Elementary Spanish Montessori Teacher Job Location : 5000 14th ST, NW, Washington, DC 20011   Duties Provides for the welfare, safety, and educational achievements of students in Lower Elementary level (6 to 9 years of age); collaborates with co-teacher to deliver the Bilingual Montessori Curriculum; develops reading and writing skills in Spanish; maintains records of children's progress with an emphasis on the development of two languages; collaborates with co-teacher to plan instruction and special activities; participates in parent conferences and meetings throughout the school year in accordance with school policy; meets with Principal to develop solutions for any parent, staff, or school-related challenges, as needed; is available to assist with other support duties.   Requirements : Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Education or equivalent. Minimum one year of experience as a Lower Elementary Spanish Montessori Teacher. Possesses Montessori training is a plus. Fluent in the Spanish language.
