Degree in American Sign Language (ASL) Interpreting, certified ASL Interpreter credentials, and 1+ year of experience as an ASL Interpreter in educational settings. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

This position is for an experienced Sign Language Interpreter to provide interpreting services within a K-12 educational environment. The role is based in Holton, KS, and offers an opportunity to support students and staff through effective communication facilitation. The assignment is a contract position for the academic school year.

Key Responsibilities :

• Provide clear and accurate sign language interpretation for students, teachers, and staff during daily classroom activities and school events.
• Facilitate communication between deaf or hard-of-hearing students and their hearing peers and educators.
• Support inclusive learning by adapting interpreting techniques to different educational settings.
• Collaborate with educational teams to ensure accessibility and support student success.
• Maintain confidentiality and professionalism in all interactions.
