Department / Unit Summary
A Dialysis Nurse in our hospital is a specialized Registered Nurse (RN) who provides critical care to patients with acute or chronic kidney failure. You will play a vital role in administering dialysis treatments, a life-sustaining procedure that removes toxins, excess fluids, and waste from the blood when the kidneys can no longer function properly.
In this role, you will care for patients with severe kidney conditions, including those in critical care, post-surgical recovery, or undergoing emergency dialysis due to sudden kidney failure. Your responsibilities will include :
Beyond technical skills, you will provide education and emotional support to patients and their families, helping them understand the dialysis process, dietary restrictions, and long-term care plans. Collaboration with nephrologists, dietitians, and other healthcare professionals will be key to delivering comprehensive kidney care.
