Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A public elementary school in Auburn, IN, is seeking a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for a maternity leave contract position. This role is ideal for an SLP licensed for school settings, including candidates completing their Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) or those holding their Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC). The position provides an opportunity to support early learners in kindergarten through 2nd grade.

Responsibilities include :

• Providing direct speech therapy services 4 to 5 days per week, 6-7 hours per day
• Managing a caseload of approximately 30 students, primarily with mild speech and language impairments
• Conducting an average of 3-4 evaluations per month
• Utilizing the Indiana IEP system for documentation and compliance
• Billing Medicaid through the RELAY system, requiring accuracy and attention to detail
• Working onsite across two locations within one mile of each other
• Maintaining a hybrid schedule for CCC candidates, allowing 1-2 days per week for indirect services

Desired qualifications :

This contract runs from October 6, 2025, through March 1, 2026, with potential for renewal depending on performance and ongoing need. The position is fully onsite.
