Construction Contract Specialist

Contract Negotiator

Lead contract negotiations with customers from initial discussions through final execution.

Review and revise contract terms and conditions to align with company standards and risk tolerance.

Partner with internal business teams throughout the negotiation process to resolve issues and gain approvals.

Collaborate with the Legal Department on complex or escalated contract matters.

Secure business approval for exceptions and unresolved contract concerns.

Confirm credit approval for contracts exceeding $100,000.

Execute and return signed contracts up to $1 million.

Maintain accurate contract records in Salesforce, including insurance certificates, bonds, and other documentation.

Coordinate the issuance of payment, performance, and supply bonds as required.

Request and review insurance certificates to ensure compliance with contractual obligations.

Conduct semi-annual reviews of bonds to assess job completion status.

Build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders across departments.

Minimum of 3 years of experience in contract review, including at least 2 years in contract negotiation.

Background in construction-related contract analysis preferred.

Pay range for this position is $32.00 - $40.00 / hr.

This is a hybrid position in Irving, TX.
