Travel Nurse RN - Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit - $2,488 per week in Rochester, MI

Job Title : Registered Nurse Profession : Nursing Specialty : CVICU Duration : 13 Weeks Shift : 7 PM - 7 : 30 AM Hours per Shift : 36 Experience : Minimum 2 years of CVICU experience License : Current licensure by the state Board of Nursing Certifications : ACLS and BLS certifications required Must-Have : - Experience with Cerner, Impella, and IABP - Recent open-heart experience Description : Provides leadership in the coordination and delivery of quality compassionate patient care. Utilizes the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation to provide, delegate, supervise, and document care and teaching of patients and families. Effectively communicates pertinent patient and family information to the healthcare team. Participates in finding solutions for variances from patient goals and ensures implementation of solutions. The candidate will be allowed one week of requested time off. Clinical knowledge and analytical abilities are necessary to formulate effective nursing care plans within the unit or department. Ability to perform a wide variety of professional nursing services. Ability to effectively communicate with patients, families, and hospital personnel.
