Position Overview

A high-acuity tertiary care hospital in Minneapolis, MN is seeking Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists (CRNAs) for long-term locum tenens coverage starting in December 2025. The position offers a consistent 12-hour day shift with optional extended shifts and beeper call coverage. CRNAs will practice in a supervised care team model with full anesthesia tech support. No blocks, spinals, a-lines, or epidurals are required. Providers must reside at least 50 miles from the facility. Assignment Highlights

  • Standard shift : 6 : 30 AM - 6 : 30 PM (12 hours)
  • Additional shifts available :
  • 6 : 30 AM - 3 : 00 PM
  • 6 : 30 AM - 5 : 00 PM
  • 6 : 30 AM - 7 : 00 PM
  • 6 : 30 AM - 8 : 00 PM
  • Minimum availability : 36 hours / week, 2-3 weeks / month
  • Call (optional) :
  • Weeknight beeper call (8 or 12 hours)
  • Weekend beeper call (12 or 24 hours)
  • Occasional overnight shift availability preferred, not required
  • Practice model : Supervised care team (4 : 1 ratio)
  • Support staff : 24 / 7 anesthesia techs
  • No procedures : No blocks, a-lines, epidurals, or spinals
  • Patient population : Ages 12+
  • EMR : Epic
  • Tertiary care setting, Level III trauma center

NBCRNA certification required

  • Active Minnesota CRNA license (or willingness to obtain)
  • Minimum 1 year CRNA experience
  • ACLS and BLS (AHA required)
  • Epic experience preferred
  • Must reside 50+ miles from the facility
