About the role : As a Sr Lead Specialist, Quality you will lead others in multiple quality assurance tasks to ensure externally sourced products meet the quality and technical requirements defined by Westinghouse. Within this role the primary focus will be to manage teams in the execution of complex plans for supplier program development, oversight, and quality verification activities. You will report to the Director, Supplier. This is a remote position. Travel of 40-50% is required for this role.

Key Responsibilities :

• Develop and implement supplier surveillance and oversight plans for complex and first of a kind procurements to ensure compliance with quality and technical standards.
• Lead teams in the resolution of complex supplier quality issues which adversely impact product quality.
• Monitor progress and direct teams to achieve established quality goals within budgetary and schedule constraints.
• Create certification documents, which identify the procurement requirements met by the purchased material or equipment, such as codes, standards, and other specifications imposed by Westinghouse Customers, for major equipment and components.
• Lead assessments of the global supply base to ensure compliance with applicable regulations, codes and standards.
• Evaluate supplier quality plans, procedures, and processes to verify compliance to quality and technical requirements defined by Westinghouse Engineering.
• Apply advanced quality control techniques and statistical methods for collection of deficiency information to identify failure causes and trends, rate performance and measure the effectiveness of supplier QA programs, and internal processes.
• Write detailed segments of QA plans / programs according to current U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC), Westinghouse and customer QA standards for nuclear and non nuclear facilities.
• Implement policies on scope and retention requirements of quality assurance documentation.

Qualifications :

We are committed to transparency and equity in all of our people practices. The base salary range for this position, which is dependent upon experience, qualifications and skills, is estimated to be $112,400 to $140,500 per year.
