This is a per diem / casual position working 8-hr shifts on weekdays with variable start times between 7am-8 : 30am and a 30 minute lunch. No weekends or holidays. Located at the Anderson Medical Pavilion in La Jolla. The ideal candidate will work 4 days / month.

    • What you'll do :

  • Perform technical skills to accurately assess the status of each patient
  • Educate patients and document patient interactions
  • Practice infection control
  • Contribute to the team as necessary to ensure quality patient care
  • Perform EKGs
  • Place external monitors
  • Support AICD & pacemaker clinic by rooming patients and prepping charts
  • Prepare patients for cardiac Stress Testing

    Required Education / Experience / Specialized Skills :

  • At least 6 months experience performing 12 lead EKG's
  • Basic EKG training
  • Current BLS from the American Heart Association

    • Preferred Education / Experience / Specialized Skills / Certification :

  • National EKG Registry
  • Cardiology Experience
  • 4 months experience performing Stress Testing

    Position Pay Range : $25.40-$33.15 / hour
