Cybersecurity Architect Cloud Security & Risk Management

Location : Houston, TX & Chicago, IL (Day 1 Onsite)

Duration : 12 Months Contract

We are seeking a highly experienced Cybersecurity Architect with deep expertise in Cloud Security and Risk Management to design, implement, and oversee enterprise-grade security solutions across multi-cloud environments (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform). The ideal candidate will play a key role in defining the cloud security strategy, managing risks, and ensuring compliance with regulatory frameworks.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement enterprise cloud security architecture aligned with business and compliance requirements.
• Define security standards, patterns, and frameworks for cloud-native applications and infrastructure.
• Conduct threat modeling, risk assessments, and security posture reviews for cloud platforms.
• Collaborate with IT, DevOps, and Compliance teams to ensure secure deployment and operations.
• Implement identity and access management (IAM), network segmentation, and encryption standards.
• Drive vulnerability management and remediation efforts across hybrid and multi-cloud environments.
• Develop and maintain security documentation, architecture diagrams, and control mappings.
• Stay up to date on emerging cybersecurity threats, technologies, and best practices.
