This position is full-time, 5 days per week. Responsibilities will include, but not limited to:

• Room patients
• Obtain patients' chief complaints and medical histories
• Assist our physicians during patient examination
• Assist with surgical procedures
• Suture removal and medical dressings
• Complete paperwork for laboratories
• Notify patients with pathology and/or laboratory results
• Educate patients
• Schedule appointments
• Autoclave
• Stock exam/surgical rooms
• All other standard medical assistant duties

Qualifications

Who we are looking for:

• You have graduated from an accredited Medical Assistant program
• Strong focus on producing repeatable outcomes within defined processes
• Cautious, examines the facts and uses established procedures in decision-making
• Communicates in a factual, polite, and professional manner
• Be able to work 8 hours shifts, five days per week.
• No time restrictions between 8a-530p

As part of your candidacy with Affiliated Dermatology, we'd like you to complete two assessments, which will take about 20 minutes to complete the Predictive Index Behavioral and Cognitive Assessments.

The Behavioral Assessment measures your hard-wired, natural behaviors and strengths- or you at your very best. It takes about six minutes to complete.

The Cognitive Assessment is a 12-minute, time assessment that assesses your natural learning style. (Some people learn methodically and go narrow and deep, others quickly and broadly, for example.) These assessments help us understand which of our roles would be best suited to a person's natural strengths, and allows us to get to know them better. These assessments do not provide a yes or no answer on any candidate, and are merely a part of our screening and selection process.
