Purpose

As a DAPS Product Engineer (New Grad) , you'll work on the full product lifecycle—from concept to production—on cutting-edge vehicle structures. You'll design and analyze advanced structural components, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and help bring next-generation manufacturing solutions to life.

This role is ideal for Fall 2026 and Spring 2026 graduates with a strong foundation in mechanical or aerospace engineering, and a passion for innovative design and technology.

The Role

• Create and manage CAD designs and Bill of Materials (BOM) for Nodes™ and vehicle structures.
• Build and analyze finite element (FE) models to optimize structural performance and weight.
• Validate designs through hand calculations and simulations.
• Present design concepts and results to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, and testing teams to bring designs from concept to production.
• Support prototype builds, testing, and troubleshooting.
• Document design best practices, lessons learned, and technical specifications.
• Contribute to process improvements and cost-reduction initiatives.
