• Patient ratio experience : 5 patients per nurse
• Charting system experience preferred

Description :

The position is for a Medical / Surgical / Telemetry Registered Nurse.

This role requires working night shifts for a total of 36 hours per week.

Every other weekend is required as part of the schedule.

Holidays may be required as scheduled.

Floating is required within specialty and to lower acuity areas as needed.

Candidates should have experience with blood product administration and cardiac telemetry.

Nurses in this role will manage various responsibilities such as central line care, chest tube management, and interpretation of dysrhythmias.

Additional skills include managing cardiac drips, feeding tube care, IV initiation and maintenance, and telemetry monitoring.

The unit supports interdisciplinary collaboration with teams such as respiratory services, physical therapy, and social services.

Patient demographics include adolescents, adults, and geriatric patients.

Common patient diagnoses involve dysrhythmias and strokes.

Nurses will work with specific procedures and equipment, including IV pumps and telemonitoring systems.

Compliance with all certification requirements is essential.
