The Behavior Lab is seeking a compassionate and collaborative Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist (LMFT) to join our interdisciplinary team. This hybrid role supports neurodiverse children and their families through a blend of traditional therapy, caregiver coaching, and behaviorally informed practices. 🧩 What You’ll Do
Core Therapy Services :
- Provide individual, couples, and family therapy focused on emotional, relational, and behavioral challenges
- Support families navigating autism, ADHD, anxiety, and parenting stress
- Use trauma-informed, systemic, and evidence-based interventions
- Maintain timely and accurate clinical documentation
Behavioral Integration :
Conduct clinical observations in home, clinic, school, or community settingsCollaborate with BCBAs and behavioral teams to align mental health and behavior support plansDeliver caregiver coaching in reinforcement, co-regulation, and behavioral strategiesParticipate in interdisciplinary case conferences and treatment planningHelp monitor goals related to communication, emotional regulation, and social development✅ Minimum Qualifications
Master’s degree in Marriage & Family Therapy or related fieldActive LMFT license in the state of practiceExperience working with children and families, especially those impacted by autism or developmental disabilitiesStrong skills in documentation, collaboration, and organizationComfortable working in diverse settings with a flexible schedule💡 Preferred Qualifications
Master’s in Applied Behavior Analysis or coursework in behavioral scienceExperience supervising RBTs or interdisciplinary teamsTrained in ACT, CBT, PCIT, SPACE, or other parent-mediated interventionsFamiliarity with electronic data collection systemsBilingual (Spanish-English)🛠 Key Skills
