Financial Analyst
Progress Rail, a Caterpillar company, has an open Financial Analyst position supporting the Locomotive product group. Progress Rail is an integrated rolling stock and infrastructure provider delivering a full range of products and services to domestic and international customers. In this role, you will be responsible for providing financial analysis and decision support to Locomotive leadership.
What You Will Do :
- Collaborate with the Locomotive business leaders to gather inputs and prepare comprehensive financial analysis to support business decisions.
- Manage business proposal presentations and report progress toward key performance indicators.
What Skills & Experiences You Will Need :
Education and Experience : Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance and 5+ years of relevant experience.Analytical Thinking : Knowledge of techniques and tools that promote effective analysis; ability to determine the root cause of organizational problems and create alternative solutions that resolve these problems.Decision Making and Critical Thinking : Knowledge of the decision-making process and associated tools and techniques; ability to accurately analyze situations and reach productive decisions based on informed judgment.Effective Communications : Understanding of effective communication concepts, tools and techniques; ability to effectively transmit, receive, and accurately interpret ideas, information, and needs through the application of appropriate communication behaviors.Financial Analysis : Knowledge of tools and approaches of financial analysis; ability to read, interpret and draw accurate conclusions from financial and numerical material.Additional Information :
Location : The preferred location for this position is LaGrange, IL. Summary Pay Range : $110,520.00 - $165,840.00 Compensation and benefits offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, job level, market location, job-related knowledge, skills, individual performance and experience. Please note that salary is only one component of total compensation at Caterpillar.
