Machine Operator - Graveyard Shift

Schedule : Sunday-Thursday | 10 : 00 PM - 6 : 30 AM

Pay : $27 / hour

Position Overview

We are seeking a reliable and safety-focused Machine Operator to support overnight production operations. This role is responsible for operating, monitoring, and maintaining manufacturing equipment to ensure consistent quality and efficient production. The ideal candidate is mechanically inclined, detail-oriented, and comfortable working independently during graveyard hours.

Key Responsibilities

Operate production machinery in accordance with safety and operating procedures
Monitor equipment performance and make basic adjustments as needed
Inspect finished product to ensure quality standards are met
Troubleshoot minor equipment issues and report larger concerns to supervision or maintenance
Accurately complete production and quality documentation
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
Support production goals by meeting efficiency and quality targets
Follow all company safety, quality, and GMP requirements

Qualifications

High School diploma or GED required

1-3 years of machine operating or manufacturing experience preferred

Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail

Ability to follow written and verbal instructions

Comfortable working independently and staying focused on overnight shifts

Willingness to work overtime when needed

Skills & Abilities

Equipment operation and basic troubleshooting

Quality inspection and documentation

Time management and reliability

Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment

Basic computer skills for data entry and reporting

Physical Requirements

Ability to stand for extended periods

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs as needed

Comfortable working in a production / manufacturing environment
