Ohio Licensed Social Emotional Counselor

A company is looking for a Social Emotional Counselor to support students in overcoming social, emotional, and mental health challenges.

Key Responsibilities

Provide individual and group counseling focused on social-emotional skills and goal achievement

Act as the McKinney-Vento Liaison, overseeing support for students experiencing homelessness

Collaborate with teachers, families, and external providers to enhance student well-being

Required Qualifications

Valid state licensure (LSW, LPC, LPCC, LISW, or School Counselor License)

Strong knowledge of trauma-informed care and SEL frameworks

Experience working with at-risk or alternative school populations preferred

Master's degree in School Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or related field preferred

Experience in McKinney-Vento support is a plus
