We are seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Manager to join our dynamic legal team. This is a position that offers the opportunity to work in a fast-paced and challenging environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of the accounts payable function, including 1099, ACH and Wires, month-end close, posting of cash receipts, expense reimbursement, and Accounts Payable Management. This role requires a high level of attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities.

Responsibilities :

Oversee and manage all accounts payable functions, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with company policies and procedures.

Process and verify 1099 forms, ACH transactions, and wire transfers.

Perform month-end close activities, including the preparation of financial reports and reconciliation of accounts.

Manage the posting of cash receipts and ensure all transactions are accurately recorded in the accounting system.

Oversee the expense reimbursement process, reviewing expense reports for accuracy and compliance with company policies.

Develop and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and accuracy in the accounts payable function.

Supervise accounts payable staff, providing training, guidance, and performance feedback.

Collaborate with other departments and stakeholders to resolve accounting issues and improve financial processes.

Maintain up-to-date knowledge of accounting regulations and standards.

Qualifications :

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.

Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounts payable, with at least 2 years in a managerial role.

Proficiency in 1099, ACH and Wires, month-end close, posting of cash receipts, expense reimbursement, and Accounts Payable Management.

Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.

Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

Strong problem-solving abilities and ability to make sound decisions.

Proficient in the use of accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.

Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Strong leadership skills with a commitment to developing and motivating team members.
