Overview
Under general direction, leads, develops, plans, and administers the design, implementation, and analysis of long and short-range transit , bicycle, and pedestrian projects / studies and bus service planning in Orange County.
Transportation Analyst, Principal : This is an exempt position in Salary Grade 215 : Min $107,889.60 – Mid $128,876.80 – Max $149,864.00 per year. The starting salary will be within this range based on qualifications.
Transportation Analyst, Senior : This is an exempt position in Salary Grade 205 : Min $97,864.00– Mid $116,896.00 – Max $135,928.00 per year. The starting salary will be within this range based on qualifications.

Qualifications
Transportation Analyst, Principal : Any combination of education and experience equivalent to a bachelor’s degree in transportation, environmental or urban / transportation planning, public administration, architecture, engineering, or a related field, with a minimum of six years of responsible transit agency, local, regional, state or community planning experience that includes working with a variety of stakeholders and the development of corridor transit plans and transit service planning. Project management experience is required. A master’s degree is preferred.
Transportation Analyst, Senior : Any combination of education and experience equivalent to a bachelor’s degree in transportation, environmental or urban / transportation planning, public administration, architecture, engineering, or a related field, master’s degree preferred, with a minimum of four years of responsible transit agency, local, regional, state or community planning experience that includes working with a variety of stakeholders and the development of corridor transit plans or transit service planning. Project management experience is preferable.
