An prominent addiction treatment facility in Minnesota is looking for an experienced primary care physician Medical Director to supervise physicians, psychiatrists, and nurse practitioners at multiple locations while also providing patient care clinical leadership to assist patients and families with lifelong recovery.
Job Description for the Medical Director
Currently looking for an experienced Medical Director to oversee the medical team in an addiction treatment facility and to ensure the patients, families, and customers have the best opportunity for lifelong recovery.
Responsibilities of the Medical Director
Supervision of physicians while participating in administrative and clinical tasks,
Acting as a liaison while educating, informing, and communicating the benefits of the facility to healthcare professionals and locals within the surrounding geographic areas.
Develops the physician services team and ensures quality of care.
Requirements of the Medical Director
Doctorate MD
5 years of physician experience in a health care facility.
5+ years of leadership experience
Board Certification in internal medicine, family practice, or any ACGME specialty.
Buprenorphine Certification
DEA Certificate.
