Title : Electro-Mechanical Assembler

Location : Lockport, IL 60441

Hire Type : CONTRACT-TO-HIRE

Pay Range : $23-$28 / hr

Job Summary :

  • Solder SMT and / or through hole components to boards.
  • Perform basic and / or advanced, standardized and repetitive electro-mechanical assembly including box builds.
  • Perform Wire / Cable / Harness assembly.
  • Inspect Electrical and / or Mechanical assemblies, Chassis, Cables, Harnesses for defects.
  • May perform routine tasks in preparation for assembly such as cutting wire, stripping, wiring and fastening connections, pulling kits.
  • Perform other job-related duties as assigned.

    • Qualifications :

  • High school diploma, GED and / or technical diploma and 3+ years’ equivalent assembly experience and / or military technical training.Must be able to read and understand work instructions, schematics, bills of material, diagrams, and engineering change orders.
  • Must be mechanically inclined and able to use hand tools and small power tools.
  • Ability to work OT on an as-needed basis to meet company goals.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to follow verbal instructions as well as written procedures.
  • Must possess solid judgement and decision-making skills.
  • Must be well organized and be able to multi-task.
  • Ability to communicate professionally both orally and in written form.
  • Ability to work well with others and must be a conscientious and cooperative team player.
  • Ability to meet quality expectations and follow safety guidelines.
