Job Title : Mechanical Designer

Job Description

We are seeking a fully remote Mechanical Designer with over 5 years of experience who can independently take a project from start to finish with minimal guidance from a Professional Engineer. The ideal candidate will have expertise in designing using AutoCAD, Revit, and BIM, and should be adept at sizing ductwork, running load calculations, and performing heat calculations.

Responsibilities

Independently manage projects from initiation to completion.

Design using AutoCAD, Revit, and BIM software.

Size ductwork and perform load and heat calculations.

Collaborate on projects varying from government facilities, hospitals, laboratories, to office buildings.

Essential Skills

5+ years of experience in mechanical design.

Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit.

Experience with BIM technology.

Strong ability to perform load and heat calculations.

Must be a US citizen as per client contracts.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Willingness to undergo a federal drug and background test.

Experience with government projects is a plus.

Work Environment

The position offers a fully remote work schedule, allowing flexibility and comfort while working for a Maryland-based company. The remote nature of the job provides the freedom to work from any location within the United States, as long as the candidate is a US citizen .

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $43.67 - $60.10 / hr.
