LocumJobsOnline is working with AAS Locum Tenens to find a qualified Neurosurgery PA in Worcester, Massachusetts, 01615!

About The Position

We are

seeking a skilled Locums Neurosurgery Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician

Assistant (PA) to provide inpatient support at a leading medical center in Worcester,

MA. This role is ideal for an experienced APP with a background in neurosurgery

or general surgery, looking to join a collaborative team and provide

exceptional patient care.

Compensation : $120-$160

Per Hour

Position

Details : Schedule : 12-hour

shifts, 3 days per week

  • Call Requirements : None

Patient Load : 2–5 patients

per day

Setting : Inpatient,

non-surgical role

Responsibilities :

Provide direct patient care to

neurosurgery patients in an inpatient setting

Perform minor procedures, such as

JP drain removals (preferred)

Collaborate closely with a team of

APPs and residents for patient management

Conduct assessments, write progress

notes, and coordinate care plans

Support pre- and post-operative

neurosurgery patients

Ensure high-quality care and

adherence to clinical protocols

Requirements :

Board Certified Nurse Practitioner

(NP) or Physician Assistant (PA)

Active Massachusetts State License

(or ability to obtain prior to start)

Up-to-date CSR and DEA

certifications required

Preferred experience in neurosurgery

or general surgery
