Position Overview : Medical Licensing Specialist

We're seeking a detail-driven, organized, and proactive Medical Licensing Specialist to join our compliance team. In this role, you’ll play a vital part in ensuring that our growing network of healthcare providers remains fully licensed and compliant across all U.S. states.

You’ll work closely with medical boards, maintain detailed records, manage licensing renewals, and help streamline our internal workflows—making a direct impact on the quality of care we provide.

Licensing & Compliance

  • Monitor and maintain compliance with telemedicine regulations in all 50 states
  • Complete and manage state medical license, DEA, and certification applications for physicians, nurse practitioners (NPs), and physician assistants (PAs)
  • Proactively track and renew provider licenses and malpractice coverage
  • Keep licensing and credentialing platforms (e.g., Modio) up to date and audit-ready

Documentation & Organization

  • Maintain accurate and organized provider files in Google Drive, including licenses, COIs, DEAs, certifications, and identification documents
  • Record collaborative agreements between supervising MDs and mid-level providers
  • Keep detailed notes on calls with medical boards and licensing authorities
  • Tools & Daily Operations

  • Use Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Drive), Chrome, and Modio daily
  • Submit End-of-Day (EOD) reports with progress updates and task completion
  • Attend virtual team meetings via Google Meet
  • Contribute to improving internal licensing and credentialing processes
  • What We're Looking For

  • Experience working with state medical boards or in healthcare credentialing
  • Strong organizational skills with impeccable attention to detail
  • Comfortable handling sensitive information and meeting tight deadlines
  • Proficient with Google Drive, Sheets, and web-based tools
  • Clear, professional communication skills (written & verbal)
