Mainly responsible for troubleshooting, machine / equipment repair, and replacement of components to ensure maintenance activities performed on equipment meet optimal production and reliability
Ensure manufacturer warranties remain effective by adhering to necessary safeguards and guidelines.
Perform correcting, predictive and preventative maintenance and cleaning of machines and plant systems.
Perform mechanical and electrical diagnosis on equipment repairs utilizing both pneumatic and hydraulic tools.
Proper use of test equipment to logically troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues.
Fabricate, read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service.
Maintain plant support systems in working order, i.e., heat, air, fans, air compressors, and dryers, etc.
Ensure work areas are neat, organized, and free of safety hazards.
Ensure production area floors and equipment are free from excess spare parts, worn parts, debris, and other items not necessary for operating and maintaining production equipment.
Ensure compliance with OSHA and Company safety rules and regulations and provide guidance to OEM technicians while troubleshooting more difficult issues
Maintain an open line of communication between peers, shifts, and leaders to ensure effective reporting of equipment deficiencies and repairs are reported promptly.
Adhere to all company policies and procedures.
Required overtime hours on off days when necessary to ensure vacancies are covered and operations remain efficient.
Requirements :
Minimum 5-7 years of both industrial mechanical and electrical experience required
Technical training is strongly preferred.
Proficiency with Microsoft Suite applications.
Standard knowledge of product specifications, quality requirements, production goals, efficiency, and waste
Strong analytical skills and understanding of cause-and-effect logic.
Ability to perform accurate electrical and mechanical repairs in an industrial setting.
Demonstrated safe, effective use of hand, maintenance, power, and shop tools. Demonstrate mechanical aptitude.
Self-motivated and able to work independently and as a team utilizing mechanical, and analytical aptitude.
