Job Description\n

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a night shift Telemetry position in a float pool, requiring AZ or compact RN licensure and recent telemetry experience.

\n \n Responsibilities\n

  • Work in a hospital setting on the Med-Surg / Telemetry unit
  • Night shift position from 7 : 00 pm to 7 : 30 am, working three 12-hour shifts per week
  • Float pool role requiring flexibility to float between multiple departments and four different hospital facilities
  • Patient ratio is 6 : 1
  • Required to work 6 weekend shifts within each 6-week schedule
  • Accountable for shift-based patient care utilizing the nursing process and critical thinking skills
  • Responsible for delegating and supervising patient care activities according to staff experience and education
  • RTO requests must be less than one week
  • Scrub or dress code details not specified; inquire during interview
  • Expected to start within two weeks of offer acceptance if possible

  • Active AZ or Compact RN license
  • Current certifications in BLS and ACLS
  • Minimum 2 years recent Telemetry nursing experience required
  • Must have experience with telemetry monitoring
  • No lapse in work history exceeding 90 days in the past 12 months
  • No certifications may expire within the first 30 days of assignment
  • Must not have worked as permanent staff at any CHS facility within the past 2 years
  • Will not consider local travelers who reside within a 50-mile radius
