Job Description

Work Title : IDD Direct Service Provider (DSP)

Compensation : $18.52

Schedule & Location : 24 hours per week, for a few hours per shift (exact days and times to be determined based on availability) Golden, CO 80401

PASCO is hiring an IDD Direct Service Provider (DSP) to work with a male client in the Golden area. With SIS level

  • ; part-time. As a DSP, you'll support individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD) to live more independently at home and in their community.

The Supports Intensity Scale (SIS) Assessment is used to measure the intensity of support needed for individuals with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities (I / DD) to be successful in all aspects of their daily life.

What You'll Do

  • Promote independence for individuals with IDD in home and community settings.
  • Support individuals in achieving goals from their Service and Support Plans.
  • Build and maintain relationships with individuals receiving services.
  • Assist with daily living tasks such as hygiene, dressing, and personal care.
  • Provide medication reminders and assistance once trained.
  • Help with light housekeeping and home care tasks.
  • Coach life skills like meal prep, budgeting, and transportation.
  • Assist with behavioral management and crisis intervention as needed.
  • Help plan and prepare meals, and assist during mealtime.
  • Observe, document, and report changes in well-being, incidents, and concerns.
  • Complete required records such as ISP Data, Medication Records, and Behavior Tracking.
  • Adhere to HIPAA regulations and maintain privacy and confidentiality.
  • Attend training, meetings, and maintain annual certifications and CEUs.
  • Communicate effectively with team members and administration.
  • Follow all State, Federal, and PASCO regulations.
  • Will work primarily at the client's home with some community outings.
  • Assist with meal prep, grocery shopping.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

  • Requirements

    What You'll Need :

  • Ability to lift, carry, and move objects up to 50 pounds.
  • Stamina to stand, walk, and perform physical tasks for extended periods.
  • Mobility to bend, stoop, kneel, twist at hips
  • Visual and auditory acuity to assess needs and respond promptly.
  • Ability to understand and follow instructions given by client
  • QMAP Certification (Preferred) offered by PASCO
  • Home Health Care Experience (preferred)
  • Reliable Transportation
  • Valid Driver's License and Auto Insurance
