Kalos Sales Representative

Location :  San Francisco Bay Area (in-person events).

Preference is for South Bay locations (Palo Alto, Mountain View, Menlo Park, Sunnyvale, San Jose), but we are also open to candidates residing in San Francisco, East Bay, and Peninsula cities (San Bruno, San Mateo, Foster City, Belmont, Redwood City, San Carlos).

Compensation :  Performance-based with guaranteed event minimums (details below).

Kalos is a DEXA-based personal training company that uses the world’s most accurate body composition technology to deliver data-driven fitness and nutrition coaching. We help people optimize fat loss, build lean muscle, and track their progress with medical-grade precision. Our office is located in downtown San Francisco near the Salesforce Tower.

The Role

We’re hiring energetic and persuasive team members to represent Kalos at health, wellness, and community events. Your job is simple but powerful : talk to people, get them excited about their health, and book them for a DEXA scan at our office. You’ll use interactive tools (like a grip strength challenge) to generate interest and convert that interest into booked appointments.

We are actively ramping up our events schedule and expect to run 2–3 events per week over the coming months.  This is a great opportunity to earn consistently, build your skills, and grow with a fast-moving health& fitness startup. You’ll be the face of Kalos — giving people energy, not asking for it.

What You’ll Do

  • Join the Kalos sales team at in-person booths at events in San Francisco and the Bay Area (e.g. marathon expos, farmer’s markets, vendor marketplaces)
  • Start conversations using proven scripts and interactive games (e.g. grip strength challenge to win a free DEXA scan)
  • Use a structured sales flow to educate leads and guide them toward booking a scan
  • Represent Kalos enthusiastically and professionally to everyone who stops by
  • Transport materials to / from events when needed (car or Uber - reimbursed)

What Success Looks Like

  • 8–12 booked DEXA scans per person per full-day event (10 is the target average)
  • Confident and clear delivery of Kalos’s value proposition in under 2–3 minutes
  • High conversion from interaction → interest → booked scan
  • Smiles, high energy, and positive reinforcement for every buyer
  • Pay Structure

  • Earn 50-80% commission on every scan you sell  ($37 - $55 earned per booking)
  • Monthly performance bonuses + fitness perks!
  • $150 guaranteed minimum  for your first full-day event
  • Event minimums following your first event
  • Transport support  (if driving materials) :
  • $50 each way  if driving materials (shared if multiple people)
  • Uber fully reimbursed if driving materials  plus $50 each way
  • Parking fees covered if driving materials
  • $25 for lunch / dinner!
  • Who You Are

  • Charismatic, outgoing, and comfortable engaging strangers in conversation
  • Genuinely passionate about health, fitness, or helping others reach goals
  • Strong communicator who can quickly build rapport and earn trust
  • Able to reliably and consistently attend in-person events across San Francisco and the Bay Area
  • Our Ideal Sales Rep

  • New college graduate (22-24)
  • College athletics and / or high commitment to weightlifting / running for 4+ years
  • 2+ years of work experience (internships count) within fitness or sales / marketing
  • Relevant college major : ex. Marketing, Communications
  • Available to work at least 2-3 days per month during weekends for next 6 months
  • Bonus if familiar with DEXA scans or body composition metrics
  • Tools & Training Provided

  • Full sales scripts and playbook with pre-built conversation starters and strategies
  • Real-time booking tools with QR code support
  • High-converting visuals, posters, and handouts
  • In-depth training on how to handle objections, personalize pitches, and close sales
