Senior Associate, Product Management

The Commercial (CML) Client Evaluations and Decisioning Product Team crafts core solutions designed to empower our associates to identify new clients, deepen existing relationships, and strategically offer products and services that precisely address our clients' needs. In this role, you will be pivotal in building best-in-class user experiences, developing predictive models and rich insights to promote business intelligence, and establishing the robust data foundations necessary for cutting-edge AI innovation. Your work will directly unlock massive associate efficiency, drive growth and improve the CML Bank's ability to deliver an amazing client experience. We are seeking a strong problem solver and self-starter with a proven ability to partner with and influence stakeholders across large organizations. Ideal candidates have a strong capacity to plan, execute, and deliver results, translating complex client and associate requirements into high-value, streamlined product solutions. You'll partner closely with key internal groupsincluding Sales & Operations Teams, Relationship Managers, Treasury Management Consultants, Capital Markets Associates, CML Business Analysts, and cross-functional Product, Tech, and Design teams.

As part of the Product Management - Commercial Banking team, you will :

  • Deliver products to support the strategy and operations for a Top 10 Commercial Bank
  • Craft strategies that equip the Bank to deliver tailored solutions for clients, build a world class team of financial advisors, and enable a market-leading operation for the origination and management of loans, treasury, and capital markets products
  • Build "always on" technologies to increase profitability and empower associates
  • Reduce operational risks through strengthening controls and monitoring of key processes
  • Own the strategy and delivery of new products and features in partnership with technology teams and collaborate with Product, Tech, and Design partners in the ecosystem to deliver shared outcomes

  • Basic Qualifications :

  • Bachelor's degree or military experience
  • At least 1 year of product management experience or at least 1 year of experience in product design, agile delivery, business analysis, data science, or software engineering
  • Preferred Qualifications :

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or engineering
  • 1+ years translating business strategy or analysis into consumer facing digital products
  • 1+ years of experience working on core product platforms powering digital experiences
  • 1+ years working with cross functional teams as a product owner in an agile development process

    The minimum and maximum full-time annual salaries for this role are listed below, by location. Please note that this salary information is solely for candidates hired to perform work within one of these locations, and refers to the amount Capital One is willing to pay at the time of this posting. Salaries for part-time roles will be prorated based upon the agreed upon number of hours to be regularly worked.

  • Charlotte, NC : $99,100 - $113,100 for Sr. Associate, Product Management
  • McLean, VA : $109,000 - $124,400 for Sr. Associate, Product Management
  • Richmond, VA : $99,100 - $113,100 for Sr. Associate, Product Management
  • Candidates hired to work in other locations will be subject to the pay range associated with that location, and the actual annualized salary amount offered to any candidate at the time of hire will be reflected solely in the candidate's offer letter. This role is also eligible to earn performance based incentive compensation, which may include cash bonus(es) and / or long term incentives (LTI). Incentives could be discretionary or non discretionary depending on the plan.
