As a Screener at a fast-paced logistics and distribution location, you will help maintain a secure environment by conducting screening operations, monitoring assigned areas, and supporting access control procedures. You will remain highly visible, complete routine patrols, document and communicate activity, and deliver customer-focused assistance to team members and visitors. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, drivers, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Screen personnel, belongings, and/or property entering designated areas using approved screening methods and equipment, and follow escalation procedures for prohibited or suspicious items.
• Control access at designated entry points by verifying identification, confirming authorization, issuing visitor credentials when required, and maintaining screening and access logs.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including notifying site contacts and Allied Universal supervision as needed.
• Support shipping and receiving operations by monitoring dock and gate activity, documenting irregular conditions, and reporting maintenance or operational concerns that may impact security-related procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• X-Ray screening experience is preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• Ability to lift more than 20 lbs is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
