We are looking for an experienced Deputy Director to join our team and help us to advance the mission of Get America Working.

The Deputy Director will act as a liaison between Get America Working and various stakeholder groups and use communications and media relations approaches in their efforts. You will grow effective relationships with federal agencies, trade

associations, media, research institutions and coalitions in pursuit of our mission.   To ensure success you need to have outstanding knowledge of the legislative process and have a clear understanding of our mission. Top candidates will have experience in public affairs and strategic partnership development, media relations and excellent communication and people skills.

What You'll Do :

• Develop and implement strategies to influence legislation and policy at the local, state, and federal level
• Develop relationships with key constituency groups and individuals
• Monitor and analyze legislative and regulatory developments
• Represent the organization in public forums
• Design and execute communications materials
• Other duties as required
