Job description(banding, Wood for pallet, Tape, Shrink-wrap, all items needed to complete packaging, etc.) Build Pallets when needed. Mark all weights and dims on completed Packaged units. Forklift and Crane use when necessary. Loading trucks Cleaning, organization and making sure all Battery-operated items are charged. Responsible for offloading, visual inspection, and signing of BOL / delivery receipt of receivables, after Receiving personnel leave for the day. Visual inspection for any shipping damage which needs to be marked on delivery receipt before signing and returning to driver. When all tasks are completed, actively seek new assignments from Logistics Coordinator or management. These responsibilities serve as a guideline for work to be completed, further activities may be assigned or requested at management discretion. Hs diploma / GED Previous experience in warehouse or shipping. Experience with Shipping systems. Comfortable operating a computer and utilizing a variety of programs. Crouching and Kneeling : Ability to crouch and kneel to properly package and handle freight, particularly when working with lower shelves or packaging smaller items. Ability to stand for long periods during the work shift while packaging, organizing, and loading items. Ability to lift heavy packages (up to 50 lbs) regularly, as this job may involve moving large or bulky items. Use of hands and fingers for packing, labeling, and operating machinery for extended periods. The role requires physical stamina to handle repetitive tasks in a fast-paced environment. Warehouse 2 years (preferred) Shipping or receiving 1 year (preferred) Work independently. Work as part of a team. - 615 Alpha Drive, Pittsburgh, PA 15238 Hours : Monday- Friday 8 : 30am-5pm Position Responsibilities : Prepares large, palletized Freight for shipment.
- Including Banding shrink wrap.
- Box and foam midsized items for freight shipment.
- Package for all web stock Builds.
