Opportunity : RN - Stepdown Job Details : - Work 12-hour night shifts from 7 : 00 PM to 7 : 30 AM - Weekly guaranteed hours : 36 or 48 hours (must be indicated on submission) - Weekend hours required every other weekend as required by facility - No call requirements - 13-week assignment length - Float to similar or lower acuity units as needed - Night shift orients on day shift - must be available entire week for orientation - Patient ratios : 1 : 3 or 1 : 4 - Work with respiratory-heavy floor requiring Trach / Vent experience - Care for patients with respiratory failure, ETOH, overdose, GI bleed, electrolyte imbalance, COPD, and cancer - Use equipment including TRACH, VENT, VAPO, BIPAP - Work with EPIC EMR system - Must have 1 year stepdown experience (inpatient only) - Current RN License eligible for Missouri licensure or currently licensed in Missouri - Required certifications : BLS and ACLS from AHA only - Must have Trach / Vent experience - Dress code : Black scrubs only - Physical demands include standing and walking most of the time, bending, stooping, lifting and turning patients with assistance - High risk exposure to blood and body fluids Facility : This healthcare facility has been serving the South County area for more than 140 years and earned a B grade in The Leapfrog Group's Spring 2025 Hospital Safety Grade.
