Job descriptionCenterpoint Medical Center – Independence Facility Overview : Centerpoint Medical Center is part of HCA Midwest Health, a network of hospitals in the Kansas City and surrounding areas. Centerpoint Medical Center features 221 private rooms, state-of-the-art equipment and technology, and some of the latest clinical services available to patients. Level II Trauma Center (only one in eastern Jackson County) with 24 / 7 Emergency Services. An accredited Chest Pain Center and a variety of Cardiovascular Services. Stroke Center with Joint Commission Primary Stroke Center Certification. Unit Name : Cardiovascular lab Number of Beds : 5 procedural labs Patient Ratios : 1 : 1 Must have : RN, ACLS, BLS 1 year cath lab experience Proficiency in cardiac cath lab, interventional radiology, and electrophysiology procedures. M-F 0700-1530 On Call Requirements : 9 days / month, 4 weekend days (Friday-Sunday) / month Unit staffing description : Technologists and RNs; 12 bed cardiac pre / post. Type of equipment : GE and Philips fluoroscopy, Carto and Ensite X mapping. Documentation system : Merge. Scrubs provided Great team work environment with low call requirement Some team members within CV Lab have been at Centerpoint for 16+ years 2 labs newly updated within last 3 years
