Job description

Job Duties

Catawba Hospital, a 116-bed Joint Commission-accredited psychiatric facility located near Roanoke, Virginia, in the Blue Ridge mountains, is seeking a full-time electrician to perform routine maintenance on electrical systems, but also assist in refrigeration, carpentry, and plumbing.

The ideal candidate will demonstrate working knowledge of the installation, repair, and maintenance practices, equipment, and materials used in the assigned skilled trades areas including, carpentry, masonry, plumbing, electrical repair, painting, HVAC / refrigeration repair, and / or grounds keeping; with some knowledge of the principles and practices of other trades areas.

Minimum Qualifications

Journeyman electrical license required.

Additional Considerations

Master electrical license preferred.
