Security Officer - Logistics Flex Patrol

As an unarmed patrol officer with Allied Universal at a logistics and distribution location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remaining visible to help to deter security-related incidents. Your role involves conducting routine patrols, responding to incidents, and delivering exceptional customer service through strong communication. Pay Rate : $17.98 / Hour

Job Schedule : DayTimeSun 03 : 00 AM - 03 : 00 PM

What You'll Do :

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations when appropriate.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, supporting a secure environment for people, property, and assets.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the logistics and distribution facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
  • Monitor entrances, exits, and key areas within the location to help to deter loss, damage, or other unwanted activity.
  • Document and report any unusual observations, incidents, or maintenance needs encountered during patrols to Allied Universal management and / or client representatives as required.
  • Assist with access control procedures, verifying credentials and providing guidance to visitors, contractors, and employees as needed.
  • Remain alert to changing conditions within the logistics and distribution environment and respond according to established procedures.

    • Minimum Requirements :

  • Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
