We currently have exciting career opportunities for a Temporary Deployment Center Technician to join the Centralized Distribution Center (CDC) where we configure and reclaim laptop and PC assets. Although this position is temporary and has a flexible duration, it still offers the candidate an opportunity to make a significant impact on our team while advancing their technical skills and knowledge in a dynamic work environment.

Due to the nature of this role, this position is considered 100% on-site (Parsippany) which means it must be consistently performed at an assigned CohnReznick office location and requires daily commute to the office location.

YOUR TEAM

This individual will be responsible for providing exceptional support to CohnReznick's end user community. The candidate will serve as a CDC Technician for CohnReznick. They will report to the CDC Manager. The role will involve a 37.5-hour work week.

The candidate must be flexible, enthusiastic, and be willing to work across any of our various shifts. Candidates will be expected to thrive in their scheduled shift, even if it requires them to work unconventional hours. The candidate's adaptability will be a key contributor to their success.

YOUR ROLE

You will be expected to deliver exceptional service to our community. You will be the ambassador of the Global Digital & Cybersecurity (GDC) brand and be proving users with one of their most critical tools - their laptop.

Responsibilities include but not limited to :

  • Installation and maintenance of Windows operating systems
  • Working collectively within a Team and independently when required
  • Configuring and disposing of computer hardware
  • Managing multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Communicating effectively and professionally (both verbally and in writing) to all levels of Firm staff
  • Providing excellent customer experience and demonstrating extreme ownership of all work assigned to you
  • Helping other technical staff troubleshoot and use computer hardware and peripherals (e.g., Desktops, Laptops, Printers, Scanners, Monitors, Docks, Tablets, Keyboards, Mice, etc.) and mobile communication devices (both Android and iOS)
  • Maintaining confidentiality, security and exercise the appropriate level of discretion regarding all firm issues and information
  • Prioritizing tasks and responding to them with a sense of urgency
  • Troubleshooting and resolving incidents associated with technology that range from the simple to the complex
  • Working in an effective, consistent manner that delivers high-quality outcomes
  • Adhering to all established policies, directives, and best practices
  • Willing to accommodate flexible work hours and occasional travel
  • Testing and maintenance of AV and IT equipment
  • Managing inventory, assisting with help desk ticket resolution, overseeing e-waste disposal, and participating in IT asset management initiatives
  • Supporting virtual IT initiatives and collaborating with office managers.

YOUR EXPERIENCE

The successful candidate will have :

  • 2 or 4-year degree (technology-focused curricula are preferred) or equivalent work experience
  • CompTIA A+, Network+, Microsoft or ITIL certifications strongly preferred
  • Experience with supporting a Microsoft environment
  • Experience with Microsoft Office 365 suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
  • Knowledge of installation and maintenance of Windows 10 and Windows 11 operation systems
  • Knowledge of basic Information Technology security concepts. (Antivirus, Spam blockers, Mobile Security - Lookout / MDM / Intune, etc.)
  • Knowledge of 2-factor authentication using tools such as Bit locker, Authenticator
  • Understanding of Local Area Networking (LAN) and TCP / IP concepts
  • Understanding of ServiceNow or similar ITSM tools
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to apply critical thinking and a methodical approach to problem identification and resolution

    In New Jersey , the salary range for a CDC Technician is $26 - 28 per hour. Actual compensation within the range will be dependent upon the individual's skills, experience, qualifications and location, and applicable employment laws.
