Forsyth County Environmental Health Department is seeking a Customer Service Representative. Customer Service Representative 1 : Under direct supervision, works and communicates with the general public, internal customers and / or external customers to provide information and services targeted to meet customer expectations.
Customer Service Representative 2 : Under general supervision, works and communicates with the general public, internal customers and / or external customers to provide information and services targeted to meet customer expectations. May resolve complicated issues involving customer service and / or researches governing policies, procedures or laws to respond to clients or visitors.
Additional responsibilities : Answer phones for the Environmental Health department, Maintain client accounts & records, Accepts payment for services, Assists EHS staff with various correspondence and gather all information that is necessary to meet EH program procedures & expedite the permitting process.
Customer Service Representative 1 : High school diploma / GED and one (1) year of experience communicating information in a customer service setting are required. Customer Service Representative 2 : High school diploma / GED and two (2) years of experience communicating information in a customer service setting; or one (1) year of experience required at the lower level Customer Svc Rep 1 (GST120) or position equivalent. Preferred Qualification : To be able to speak, read and write Spanish.
