Reports to

Shop Supervisor

Summary of Position

Has 1 to 3 years of experience in the Oil and Gas Industry. Will be required to do monthly PM services, software updates and training of lower level techs.

Requirements

Possess an advanced hand tool set.

To follow all safety processes and procedures.

Siemens, Rockwell, Opto22 plc training

Knowledge of industrial engine / transmission diagnostic software.

Safeland training

Install / repair / calibrate 4-20ma instruments for plc control

Proficient with computers

Duties & Responsibilities

MUST FOLLOW ALL SAFETY REGULATIONS AND STANDARDS

Basic understanding of the use of diagnostic software and how to use it.

Proficient knowledge of hydraulic systems and their correct control settings.

Can perform electro / hydraulic system troubleshooting.

Proficient knowledge of electrical systems and troubleshooting.

Has a good understanding on basic equipment operation and theory.

Basic understanding of troubleshooting and repair of greaser systems.

Is proficient in performing all monthly PM services with no guidance.

Must have a good understanding of electro-hydraulics pump systems
