This role is responsible for overseeing legal entity accounting, complex financial instruments, and global currency impacts, while managing a team of four.

Key Responsibilities

Core Accounting Oversight

  • Direct legal entity accounting across domestic and international subsidiaries.
  • Oversee accounting for debt instruments and related interest expense.
  • Manage bonus accrual processes in coordination with HR and FP&A.

Investment & Equity Accounting

  • Lead accounting for investments, including noncontrolling interests and equity method investments.
  • Ensure accurate reporting and compliance with GAAP and other relevant standards.
  • Foreign Currency Management

  • Oversee foreign currency accounting, including translation and remeasurement processes.
  • Collaborate with Treasury and FP&A to assess currency impacts on financial statements.
  • SEC Reporting

  • Prepare and review footnote disclosures for Form 10-K and 10-Q filings, specifically related to :
  • Debt
  • Interest Expense
  • Investment Income
  • Investments (including equity method and noncontrolling interests)
  • Ensure disclosures are accurate, complete, and compliant with SEC and GAAP requirements.
  • Compliance & Reporting

  • Ensure timely and accurate month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes.
  • Support external audit and internal control requirements.
  • Maintain documentation and policies in alignment with SOX and other regulatory frameworks.
  • Requirements

    Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (Master's degree or MBA preferred); CPA required. 8+ years of progressive accounting experience, including leadership in both public accounting and industry. Strong knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting, and regulatory requirements. Proficient in financial software; Oracle preferred. Advanced Excel and financial modeling skills. Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines. Proven track record of driving process improvements and managing complex accounting operations. Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to influence across departments. High level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency and results orientation.
