Job Description\n

American Traveler is seeking an experienced Ultrasound Technologist with at least 2 years of experience and RDMS ABD or OB / GYN certification for a weekday schedule with call requirements.

\n \n Responsibilities\n

  • Position based in a hospital radiology department
  • Work Monday through Friday from 8 : 30 AM to 5 : 00 PM, with one Saturday per month from 7 : 00 AM to 12 : 00 PM
  • Weeknight call required one night per week and weekend call one weekend per month
  • Responsibilities include assisting with procedures such as paracentesis, thoracentesis, and thyroid biopsies
  • Must use a variety of ultrasound modalities depending on anatomy examined
  • Pass / fail EKG testing is required on the first day, with two attempts permitted
  • Opportunity to assist in developing department techniques and support students or trainees
  • Must demonstrate proficiency in clinical skills across various patient age groups
  • Work must consistently reflect high standards of compassion, respect, and teamwork
  • 50-mile radius rule applies for eligibility

  • Minimum 2 years of ultrasound experience required
  • RDMS ABD or OB / GYN certification required
  • BLS certification required
  • Proficiency in assisting with paracentesis, thoracentesis, and thyroid biopsy procedures
  • License required if applicable
