PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES :

Oversee and perform financial, operational and compliance reviews of parishes and other diocesan entities on behalf of the Bishop. Prepare individual parish financial analysis to be used in the proxy process. Act as a resource to parish business administrators, bookkeepers, Finance Councils, and parish Treasurer Trustees on implementation of diocese standard accounting policies and procedures and on the use of diocese standard accounting software.

MINIMUM KNOWLEDGE, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS REQUIRED :

• Bachelor's degree in accounting required.
• Five to seven years of progressive accounting experience required.
• Must possess a valid driver's license.
• MS Office, with strong Excel skills required.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ethical and honest in all interactions.
• Strong analytical and reasoning abilities, including planning, organizing and decision making.
• Ability to multi-task with attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently.
• Ability to be patient while working with individuals with a diverse skill set.
• Able to keep sensitive information confidential.
