Job description

Overview

Join to apply for the Engineer-in-Training I role at RaganSmith . RaganSmith is seeking full-time entry level Engineers-in Training based in our Nashville, Franklin, Murfreesboro, and Chattanooga offices. This position will assist in the project design, production and permitting on a wide range of residential and commercial site development and infrastructure projects. The EIT I will collaborate in-house with other civil engineers, landscape architects, and land surveyors to assist our clients in developing public and private mixed-use projects.

Responsibilities

  • Civil site project design and production in AutoCAD Civil 3D
  • Stormwater management design
  • Permitting coordination with federal, state, and local jurisdictions
  • Coordination and collaboration with design team
  • Additional related duties as needed

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering
  • Effective communication skills
  • 1-3+ years of experience in commercial / residential site design, public infrastructure design and production
  • AutoCAD Civil 3D experience
  • EI / EIT or the ability to obtain within 12 months
