As an Accounting Officer Senior at the Minnesota Pollution Control Agency, you are responsible for the development and administration of inter-divisional budgets and spending plans, managing and analyzing the obligation and expenditures of funds for program management of specific funds within agency programs, assisting media fiscal coordinators, evaluating fiscal information and advising leadership in overall resource management and allocation.
This position performs financial management and budgeting support. As well as the coordination toward development of agency and division fiscal strategy. It functions as the day-to-day coordinator of current budgets and annual spending plans, addresses reporting requirements, and reconciles administrative and fiscal anomalies. This position assists in technical development of biennial budgets, annual spending plans, fund balances and fees.
