About The Position
We are seeking a Cardiothoracic Surgery Physician Assistant for a 48-day locum tenens assignment in Pennsylvania, starting Oct 1, 2025. This night shift role, from 6 : 30 PM to 7 : 30 AM on a 7-on / 7-off schedule, involves critical care duties in a cardiovascular / cardiothoracic ICU and step-down unit.

Responsibilities and Duties
Monitor and manage patients in the cardiovascular / cardiothoracic ICU and step-down units.Operate equipment such as balloon pumps, central lines, and chest tubes.Handle patient admissions, discharges, and consults.Document and update patient records on the Epic EMR system.Collaborate with healthcare team members to provide comprehensive patient care.Additional Information
Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification required.Must hold a valid PA license.Prior experience in a similar setting is essential; no new graduates.Strong ability to work independently and as part of a team in high-pressure environments.Benefits
