We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Business Systems Analyst in SIMSBURY, Connecticut! In this role, you will be integral in managing and improving our business systems and processes. You will be expected to support and drive continuous improvement in ERP systems and translate business processes into recommended best uses of software functionality.
Responsibilities :
- Handle customer applications with precision and efficiency.
- Keep customer credit records accurate and current.
- Resolve customer inquiries and concerns promptly.
- Monitor customer accounts and take appropriate action when necessary.
- Support and boost continuous improvements in ERP systems.
- Translate business processes into recommended best uses of software functionality.
- Participate in routine meetings related to the ERP system and core IT Operational systems.
- Exhibit strong problem-solving skills and the ability to question, listen to user concerns, and develop solutions using our systems to meet user needs.
- Display a proactive, customer-centric mindset, with the ability to work independently and with cross-functional teams.
- Use Lean Six Sigma problem solving methods and tools.
- Design and produce customer-ready reports, with experience in Crystal Reports, preferred.
- Possess some experience of SQL code development and data manipulation
- Proficiency in Atlassian Jira and Confluence tools for project management and documentation.
- Demonstrable experience with various business systems and understanding of their interdependencies.
- Familiarity with CRM systems, preferably with hands-on experience.
- Ability to perform gap analysis to identify areas of improvement in business processes.
- Experience with AB Testing to evaluate system upgrades or modifications.
- Knowledge of Agile Scrum methodology and backlog grooming procedures.
- Understanding of various business process functions and their role in overall business performance.
- Proven ability to document business requirements effectively.
- Proficiency in Crystal Reports for data reporting and analysis.
- Experience with SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) for generating custom reports.
- Strong SQL skills for database querying and management.
