Warehouse Associate
Join our team as a Warehouse Associate, where you will play a crucial role in ensuring the timely and accurate fulfillment of customer orders. You will handle various tasks including picking and packing materials for shipment, receiving and shipping merchandise, and maintaining inventory records using appropriate computer programs.
Responsibilities
- Pick and pack materials for shipping based on customer orders, material queues, Bills of Ladings, and job material lists.
- Receive and ship merchandise, ensuring accuracy in checking in merchandise by recording amounts via the appropriate computer program.
- Move materials from receiving or storage areas to shipping or other designated areas.
- Obtain shipping quotes and create shipping labels.
- Assist in the cycle count and physical inventory process.
- Perform facilities maintenance duties as needed, including cleaning tasks such as sweeping, dusting, mopping, and shoveling.
- Keep the warehouse and work area organized and orderly.
- Install simple parts such as coin-drops, face plates, and coin-boxes in machines on a shop floor using mechanical and electrical tools.
- Perform other duties and projects as assigned.
Essential Skills
Experience in warehouse pick and pack operations is required.Proficiency with inventory control, picking, packing, RF scanners, shipping, and receiving.Skilled in operating an electric pallet jack and forklift is preferred.Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently.Strong organizational skills and the capability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.Familiarity with computers and relevant software applications.Basic computing and spreadsheet skills, particularly Excel.Experience with UPS, FedEx, and DHL shipping processes.Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $19.00 / hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
