Staff Accountant

Robert Half is currently looking for a detail-oriented and motivated Staff Accountant. As a Staff Accountant, you will play a crucial role in maintaining financial records, preparing reports, and assisting with general accounting functions. Key Responsibilities :

• General Accounting Functions : Process journal entries, maintain the general ledger, and ensure accuracy in financial records.
• Account Reconciliation : Prepare and reconcile accounts, including bank, credit card, and balance sheet accounts.
• Financial Reporting : Assist in preparing accurate and timely financial statements and management reports.
• Month-End and Year-End Close Activities : Support the monthly and annual financial close processes, including accruals and adjustments.
• Accounts Payable and Receivable Support : Manage AP / AR tasks, such as invoicing, payment processing, and collections.
• Compliance : Ensure adherence to company and regulatory accounting policies and procedures.
• Process Improvement : Identify areas to enhance efficiency within accounting operations and recommend solutions.
• Provide support for audits and special projects as assigned.
