Home Health Aide HHA Personal Care Aide PCA 12 hour day shifts

Pay and Benefits :

We are immediately hiring a Home Health Aide (HHA) and / or Personal Care Assistant (PCA) for a female client with dementia in East Meadow. Sundays, Mondays and Tuesdays 7a-7p. Responsibilities include engagement, companionship, shower assistance, meal prep and safety. Must have experience with taking care of patients with dementia. Weekly pay.

Must Haves :

High school degree and / or a G.E.D. certificate

Six months experience as a Home Health Aide (HHA) and / or Personal Care Assistant (PCA) in health care (in homes or facilities) and current certification with New York State.

Must have a sympathetic attitude toward the care of the sick, and ability to deal effectively with the demands of the job

Meets the requirements for employees providing direct patient care

Read, write, speak and understand English as needed for the job

Have a valid driver’s license and use of an insured automobile for work or access to adequate transportation
