Senior Snowflake Data Architect

Introduction

We are seeking a skilled professional with a deep understanding of data warehousing concepts and Snowflake architecture. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in data architecture and modeling, and be eager to contribute to innovative projects in a dynamic environment.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Applicants must be able to work directly on W2
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in Snowflake
• Proficiency in SQL / PLSQL
• Ability to analyze source systems and create data models, including creating new objects or enhancing existing ones
• Understanding of CICD processes, with experience in Jenkins and Bitbucket
• Hands-on experience with loading and unloading data from external stages to Snowflake
• Familiarity with parsing JSON / XML, views, materialized views, time travel, RBAC, cloning, and writing procedures
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
• Experience working directly with customers
• Advanced knowledge of Snowflake architecture and its features
• Experience with data governance and security best practices
• Familiarity with additional data warehousing tools and platforms
